Meaderies of Texas (2025)

Description: This map was primarily an exercise in trying to improve on the typical locator map formula of points on a shape. The hexbin approach fit quite nicely with my chosen theme, and the bee-esque “flight path” leader lines were a fun embellishment. Much time was spent ensuring that each logo was faithfully reproduced at high resolution with appropriate transparency.

Special thanks to Texas Longhouse Mead for alerting me to a few missing meaderies in the first version.
